PSHE
PSHE Mission Statement.
At The Haven School, we strive for our children to develop as happy, healthy, independent and responsible members of society with the guidance of God, and to live ‘life in all its fullness’ (John 10:10). PSHE at our school will equip our pupils with the knowledge, skills and positive values to have safe, fulfilling relationships, to enjoy their identity, and to take responsibility for their health and wellbeing, now and as they continue to grow.
Whole-school approach Jigsaw covers all areas of PSHE for the primary phase including statutory Relationships and Health Education. The table below gives the learning theme of each of the six Puzzles (units) and these are taught across the school; the learning deepens and broadens every year. |
