Music

Music at Haven is vibrant, inclusive, and central to our creative curriculum. Through singing, playing instruments, composing, and listening, children develop musical skills and confidence while exploring sounds from different cultures and historical periods. 

Our progressive curriculum builds year-on-year, starting with sound exploration in Reception and culminating in composition and performance in Year 6. Lessons are practical, engaging, and accessible to all learners, with opportunities for whole-class instrumental learning and cross-curricular links. 

Music supports personal development, teamwork, and self-expression—helping every child find their voice and enjoy the journey of music-making.
